One of my all-time favourite bags from Coach, the Borough was an instant hit when it was released last year, available in a multitude of sizes that came in either pebbled leather or polished calfskin. This time around, it comes in smooth leather and treated in a style Coach calls ‘edgepaint‘, which in essence is simply painting the edges of the bag in a contrasting hue, and in the case of the Micro Borough, white with orange highlights.
Measuring a wee 19 cm by 14 cm, this is also one of the sizes I adore, small enough to wear across the body during weekend shopping jaunts in town yet big enough for all your essentials. Use it with or without its removable shoulder sling, throw on a pair of skinny denim jeans and a white tee (heels optional) and you’re good to go.
Priced at just SGD645, you’ll also be pleased to know that it now comes in 6 different sizes, ranging from the XL Borough that measures 49 cm by 34 cm (SGD1949) to the Large Borough (SGD1295), the Borough, the Weekend Borough (much wider than it is tall), the Mini Borough (from SGD795) and finally, the smallest of the family, the Micro Borough.
Available in a variety of edgepaint hues, along with others in solid hues in retro glove tan leather, I don’t envy the ones who know they’ve got to have one but can’t decide on the colour or size. So #firstworldproblems, no?
