Because Chanel knows they can sell most anything so long as it has its logo or something in their signature quilt, it wouldn’t come as a surprise that Karl Lagerfeld has collaborated with audio brand Monster to create this pair of headphones that were first spotted on runway in Paris during their Fall-Winter 2014 Womens Chanel presentation.
Besides the headphones that will come with the Chanel logo on both sides and the quilted leather detailing on the top, it will come with its very own custom quilted lambskin case, which could easily double up as a clutch or maybe as a make-up/toiletries case though that wouldn’t make much sense.
And while the exact release date hasn’t been announced yet, word on the street puts price estimates at around USD7500 a set. Balk all you want, but I have a feeling they will disappear off shelves as soon as they arrive. Because I did say Chanel can sell most anything, right?
