Those familiar with Alexander Wang will know he also dabbles in home and lifestyle accoutrements from jump ropes to pool inflatables and leather slippers lined with shearling, so it won’t come as a surprise that he did a collaboration with Beats By Dr. Dre, which makes perfect sense.
Beautifully finished with Alexander Wang’s signature use of gold accents and matte black finishes, with all pieces in the collaboration also sold with their own custom-designed Alexander Wang stingray embossed cases that come with little gold clips, perfect for hooking onto your backpack.
For those who have to get one (or the entire set of 3) like, ASAP, these sexy babies will be launched tomorrow (7 February 2014) at Alexander Wang’s boutique within Hilton Shopping Gallery where they are priced from SGD240 and up. More specifically, SGD240, SGD490 and SGD690 for the Beats urBeats Earbuds, Beats Pill Speaker and the Beats Studio Headphones respectively.
And since I don’t actually own anything from the Beats By Dr. Dre, maybe someone out there can tell me if they are worth the money. And if I’m thinking of getting one of these to use while on the plane (because, you know, the stewardesses always retrieve their headphones when the plane is about to land and the movie is at the most exciting part), where would I be able to buy an adaptor? Help?

now I want this. (FB)
These look fabulous… might just pop by to get them too. BTW, there are 2 types of adaptor for inflight use. I can pass you both the next time we catch up.
I love them BB! You should totally get them, worth it. The A. Wang designs are gorgeous as well – tempting me to grab another one myself (considering I just bought mine a few weeks back).
You can get the adaptor at those electronic shops in the airport after you pass customs.
Beautiful. (FB)
I use Bose headphones and the airplane adaptor comes with it. I’m sure you can get it from Bose separately. Those Alexander Wang for Beats however looks amazing!
