While I can’t quite figure out why I haven’t blogged about the new Givenchy Easy yet, it’s easy to see why it should do well for the French house this season, given its distinct shape, the beautiful contrast between the croc-embossed and grained leather portion which you’ll find towards the bottom and of course, its ease of use. Why? Besides being your standard work tote that’s big enough for a MacBook, work files and then some (which you can access easily from the top), there aren’t any fussy details like a top flap or additional embellishments for the sake of.
It’s chic, it’s sharp, even the shape’s unusual but in a good way. Measuring 43 cm across by 35 cm, it’s now available via Net-A-Porter for GBP890 a pop (or around SGD1880 after conversion), which is quite frankly rather easy on the wallet for something that’s made of genuine calfskin leather. Sorry, I couldn’t resist. Especially when it was that easy. Ok, I did it again.
And if you’re heading over to Net-A-Porter, do note that they’ve also got the Antigona Shopper Tote in stock (Rottweiler and Roses Camouflage), as well as the new season HDG Tote in different colours.
