Valextra Iris

valextra_iris If you have already popped into Valextra’s new store at Paragon in Singapore, you may have spotted the Valextra Iris, a structured textured calfskin leather bag that’s as sharp as it gets. Sharp because as far as its lines go, she’s a beauty, what with her black-lined frame, beautifully stitched sides and the gold-toned hardware clasp.

Measuring 22 cm by 17 cm, the bag is lined with beige leather and comes with a patch pocket, good for say, the mobile phone or the business card case. Another thing I like about the Iris? Remove the adjustable shoulder sling and it will be become a clutch, and one that’s really rather stylish as well.

Priced at GBP1380 online via Net-A-Porter, you can also pick it up locally at Paragon where it comes in a few colours. And while you’re there, check out the tiny S Series as well, a small luggage-style top handle handbag that’s also really easy on the eyes.

Great review! I just got the Valextra Isis from Milan about a month ago and I can’t fault the workmanship at all! What I like most about it is the lightness of it even though it’s a structured bag (most structured bags I came across tend to be heavy). No obvious logo is also a plus for me.
