Valextra Full-Grain Leather Card Holder

valextra_full-grain-leather-card-holder If you’ve been living under the proverbial rock, you might not know that Valextra is now in Singapore, tucked in-between Miu Miu and Moschino over at Paragon. Some of you might have missed it totally, given it’s less than prominent location, but once you find it it’s like walking into a whole new world altogether. In other words, definitely worth a visit if you are new to the Italian luxury label.

And if you’re on the hunt for something that’s not too expensive but would make a good X’mas gift for your man, the Full-Grain Leather Card Holder could be it. Available in a wide range of colours (7 or 8 at last count) in Singapore, each 10 cm by 8 cm card holder comes with 5 card slots, with the distinct V cut-out in the middle that synonymous with Valextra.

Priced at around SGD275 in Singapore if I’m not mistaken, you can also pick them up online via Mr Porter for GBP112.50 (after VAT) though in this case it might be better to get them locally since the store at Paragon has more colours available to choose as opposed to just the trio on Mr Porter.

Hi! Thanks for the post! I have been looking for more information on Valextra for a very long time! Didn’t know they have one store in Singapore.

I love how understated, yet beautiful Valextra is – similar to Hermes, reducing all the monograms and branding, to show true classic design, quality and beautiful craftsmanship!

Anyway do you know how much will a bi-fold from Valextra cost? Those typical gents’ one with 6 to 8CCs, thank in advance!

how exactly is it cheaper to do the former? the conversion rate puts Mr Porter’s at SGD225, and there’s free shipping for the rest of the year.

i’m pretty sure the cab fare/parking charge makes going down to Paragon much more expensive. and yet i thought people came to this blog for reliable information on pricing in Singapore, what a hoax.

      1) I didn’t ask you to buy only from Valextra Paragon, there is an alternative option (with links) in the post to Mr Porter’s site.

      2) While Mr Porter is cheaper, they only have 3 colour options, as opposed to Valextra’s Paragon 7 or 8 in store now. Again, it’s your choice.

      3) With Paragon located smack in the middle of Orchard Road, there is really no need to cab or drive. Just use the bus/train if you spending loads extra on transport is a concern for you. See, another option/choice for you.
