If you’ve been following this blog closely enough, you would already be familiar with Fauré Le Page, a recently revived French brand that I fell in love with on my last trip to Paris. Besides being generally affordable for their bags and SLGS in coated canvas, there’s also something about their motif that’s also pretty appealing, officially known as the ‘Scale’.
Located just beside Chanel’s Rue Cambon boutique in Paris, the good folks at Fauré Le Page keep me updated from time to time with new releases, and one of those include the subject of today’s post, the Fauré Le Page Pochette Parade. A little old-fashioned and with enough bling to make even the Sun King (French king Louis XIV, if you must know) smile, I do particular like this combination, known as Bleu Nuage, which is part blue coated canvas that’s topped with a grained leather flap in grey.
Roomy with a main compartment on the inside with a couple of card slots, the Pochette Parade can be used as a wallet, clutch or sling, seeing how it comes with its very own shoulder sling, a godsend for those who want more versatility with their SLGs.
Priced at EUR930, you’ll either have to visit their store to see all the different combinations available or drop them an email to place an order because they do ship internationally. Or pop over to their Facebook fan page and acquaint yourself with the brand that was first established in 1717.
