Fans of Mulberry will be pleased to know that two newish F/W13 bags have made their debut online, the Large Bayswater Shoulder and the Small Suffolk, which are shown above on the left and the right respectively. One a reinterpretation of the Bayswater, the other a new design altogether, both are essentially sling bags with long leather slings that allow one to wear it across the body or over the shoulder.
Both bags also sport flaps in the front which require some effort before you can get into them, reaching down in the front, undoing the clasps before lifting the flaps and getting inside. And because the folks at Mulberry somehow knew it would be cumbersome, they added large patch pockets at the back of both bags, allowing you to slip in your smartphone or a couple of cards that you need most handy.
One more slick and polished, the other more voluptuous and casual, it’s really up to you at the end of the day which style you prefer because they are priced so similarly (the Large Bayswater Shoulder is GBP1500, while the Small Suffolk is GBP1350) for the entry-level models anyway.
Check them all out online at Mulberry where do they ship internationally, and if you are feeling generous there’s even one in exotic ostrich that will set you back by GBP6000. Which is a tad mad if you ask me, even if it is especially stunning in electric Neon Yellow.
