Before you get all excited about the Hermès Micro Rivale that’s a new addition for F/W13 collection, know that it’s not as big as it looks on the screen. Called ‘micro’ for a really good reason, it’s really tiny, the metal portion of the bracelet measuring no more than 2 cm by 1 cm in size. It’s also just a single loop bracelet (it only goes around the wrist once), which is rather different from the regular (and much larger) Rivale Double Tour.

Because it’s so small, you’ll probably miss it at Hermès boutiques though when I was in London earlier this week, I spotted quite a few in sizes like S and M. Available in a total of 4 sizes (XS, S, M and L), it comes in Black, Souffle (a light lemon yellow) and a Grey that’s more like the colour of clay than anything else in palladium or gold hardware, with prices at EUR385/GBP340/USD520 apiece. I haven’t seen any in Singapore as yet so if anyone knows how much it’s selling for in SGD, do update us in the comments section here.

And yes, I did get myself one in M when I was at New Bond Street. It is a tad tight but I figured it would be fine if I stacked it with other bracelets, and seriously, who walks away from Hermès empty-handed anyway, right?
