You’ve seen the Lego Birkin, Homiés’ tees and other inspired bits and bobs not actually from Hermès, and today I’m adding another to that list. From American designer John Buscemi comes the Buscemi 100MM Shoe, a high-cut grained leather sneaker that’s made in Italy and sports yes, you guessed it, hardware more commonly found on say, a Birkin or a Kelly.
Available in Black, Red or White, each USD785 pair (now available via Kith NYC that does not ship to Singapore or the region so you’ll have to use a forwarding service) also comes with a pair of 18K gold hardware padlocks that you can use to ‘lock’ the front of the sneakers with. Why? That’s a mystery that will never be solved, I guessed.
What say you? Love? Or loathe?

i’m obsessed with this 100mm. no one sells in my country, i’m trying to look for it in my neighbouring countries, singapore and hong kong. if anyone know where this is available, please email me. this is a must-have item.
They are pretty cool but I still find the concept a bit funny somehow.
I would like to know how can I get a pair of 100mm Buscemi in Black in US10.
where can i get them?
I love it, just got me 2 colours…
I’m obsessed and I saw these for the first time a few weeks ago. These kicks are such a cool/funny homage style shoe. They’re a blatant ‘knockoff’ or inspiration if you will, of something from Hermes, but given their luxurious material, high sticker price, and simply amazing attention to detail, I will certainly be buying a pair. Good thing I live in NYC.
LOVE IT!
