If you’ve been following me online the last few days on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, you would have seen some of Burberry Prorsum’s new S/S14 collection in some form or other, be it my shaky final video on Facebook or bits and bobs from today’s re-see at Horseferry House.
But before we go into the collection or even the bags proper, here’s a quick post that should give you a general idea of what Christopher Bailey has created for S/S14. Known as the English Rose collection, it’s one that features the softest of fabrics from English lace and Scottish cashmere to felted merino wool and raw silk, with a colour palette that’s easy on the eyes, what with pastels like rose pink, pale yellow, lavender and mint, just to name a few.
And the easiest way to view all these lovely colours in the collection (along with various appliqué and embellishments that are also used on the RTW pieces) is to check out the beautiful iPhone5 and iPhone5s cases created especially in partnership with Apple.
Available in at least 9 different designs/finishes and a rainbow of colours that any Care Bear would be proud of, all the cases are now available for pre-order ranging from SGD425 to SGD625, with the option of adding your own gold foil embossed initials if you like. Which one (or ones) do you like the most?
