Chanel Paris-Edinburgh Métiers d’Art 2013 Collection

chanel_paris-edinburgh-2013-collection1It’s amazing what a well-thought out colour palette, double-stitched quilted lambskin, tartan detailing and lambskin treated to look like tweed or shine iridescently can do, especially for SLGs that we are already so familiar with. Given Karl Lagerfeld’s Gaelic touch, most everything in the Chanel Paris-Edinburgh Métiers d’Art 2013 collection is, without a doubt, beautiful.

Now available in Singapore (walk past any boutique and you’ll see the window displays done up to perfection), I’m most enamoured with the SLGs, from the Boy Flap Wallet to the WOC, all given a Scottish twist.

Personal favourites include the Boy Flap Wallet in lambskin with the gold-tone hardware clasp, the key holder in gorgeous iridescent blue that’s embossed with camellias and of course, the plum iridescent lambskin WOC that comes with a small gold tartan-detailed Chanel button. What’s your favourite piece?
