H&M Conscious Exclusive Collection

hm_conscious-exclusive-collection Slated for release worldwide on 4 April 2013, there are at least 3 reasons to be excited about the H&M Conscious Exclusive collection. For starters, materials used in the collection include organic cotton, recycled polyester, recycled polyamide and Tencel, which for Mother Earth can only be a good thing.

To my untrained eye (because really, I mostly blog about bags), the collection seems to have various pieces that have been inspired by collaborations past (think Lanvin and Maison Martin Margiela, for example) and there’s nothing wrong with that. Especially when said pieces are still relevant today. Couple that with the fact that the collection is all about using recycled materials and the concept seems even more apt.

Really loved the MMM collaboration in ’12. One of the best quality construction at a great price point. I used the black shrunken shoulder jacket all winter in HK.

They’ve really outdone themselves this time around. Everything looks really well constructed and rich. (FB)
