Slated for release worldwide on 4 April 2013, there are at least 3 reasons to be excited about the H&M Conscious Exclusive collection. For starters, materials used in the collection include organic cotton, recycled polyester, recycled polyamide and Tencel, which for Mother Earth can only be a good thing.
Secondly, for those looking for party wear, this is the line-up with something for everyone, from dusty pink gowns to draped kimono style tops and corseted dresses with layer upon layer of tulle, which is simply lush.
Lastly (and most importantly, for me, anyway), the boys needn’t feel left out either, with slim fitted jackets, tuxedo jackets with rose-print lining the insides, to a collarless white shirt with a bowtie attached.
To my untrained eye (because really, I mostly blog about bags), the collection seems to have various pieces that have been inspired by collaborations past (think Lanvin and Maison Martin Margiela, for example) and there’s nothing wrong with that. Especially when said pieces are still relevant today. Couple that with the fact that the collection is all about using recycled materials and the concept seems even more apt.

saw a few pieces from the current Conscious collection while i was in SFO last week. too ‘wild’ for me! too bad i missed out on the Conscious Exclusive collection!
p.s. loving the new look!
Hey hey! How have you been? Conscious Exclusive will only be out in SG on 4 April 2013. Which means you can still shop to your heart’s content.
Really loved the MMM collaboration in ’12. One of the best quality construction at a great price point. I used the black shrunken shoulder jacket all winter in HK.
They’ve really outdone themselves this time around. Everything looks really well constructed and rich. (FB)
