Before anyone cracks a joke regarding that now-famous Montblanc pen (sorry guys, but this is one only those living in Singapore would understand), we should focus instead on a great charity initiative led by Montblanc that benefits UNICEF. Reinforcing the the brand’s commitment to underprivileged children’s education in Africa, Asia and Latin America, Montblanc has pledged to donate at least USD1,500,000 from the proceeds raised from the sale of the Montblanc + Unicef ‘Signature For Good’ collection.
Comprised of a limited edition range of pens (which makes perfect sense, given Montblanc’s heritage with writing instruments and their innate support of education and literacy), prices start from SGD580 and go up to SGD1020 apiece.
Other pieces in the collection include a selection of jewellery and accessories, including this stainless steel bangle engraved with a brick motif, symbolising the construction of schools in impoverished countries, brick by brick. Priced at SGD530, they come individually numbered and topped off with a blue sapphire.
You’ll also find an array of SLGs, from wallets to a note book and a business card holder, as well as a pen pouch, so there’s really no excuse not to head down to Montblanc at Mandarin Gallery or Ngee Ann City in the month of March to do your part. After all, when it comes to building schools for the needy, every brick counts.

very nice, great cause as well!
i wish the montblanc website is clearer about how much (in terms of percentage) of the proceeds goes to unicef.
To date they have donated over USD5,000,000 to UNICEF so it should give you a pretty good idea.
Maybe it is time to finally invest in a Montblanc pen, and what better time than now? All for a good cause Tammy, all for a good cause.
All for a good cause, all for a good cause…
What’s the joke?
Pretty! (FB)
what is the joke again?
I don’t need another fancy pen. I don’t need another fancy pen. (Repeats till understood.)
It’s a great cause. It’s a great cause. (Repeats till understood).
