Here’s your first look at the Spring-Summer 2013 Womens Mulberry ad campaign, shot by long-time Mulberry collaborator Tim Walker and featuring model Meghan Collison. Shot against a backdrop of an ethereal underwater scene complete with sorbet-hued coral and sea anemones, it’s Mulberry all grown up yet without losing any of the whimsy.
Besides the usual suspects like the Bayswater making an appearance in the campaign, the bag of the season has got to be the Mulberry Willow, which is in fact two bags in one. Besides the full-on winged tote which is the main bag, the envelope-style pocket in the front with the Postman’s Lock can be unzipped and used separately as a clutch.
In other words, it’s literally two bags for the price of one. And with everyone out there loving roomy totes and along with clutches still being the IT accessory for S/S13, I expect these to do very well. Available in a multitude of sizes: Small Willow (comes with an additional sling), Willow and Oversized Willow, expect another update soon on the colours and prices.

First thing that came to mind when I saw the picture was… meh… a bag with wings again… but upon finding out that the envelope can be used as a clutch… genius design and definitely worth the money!
Now… what is it we were saying about bags with ‘wings’?
LOL! No, this one is fine. Yes, it has ‘wings’ but the style is pretty different and more importantly, it is not trying to pass off as the Luggage.
Yes that’s true.
The background is reminiscent of the Chanel runway show where Florence performed (S/S2012 perhaps?)… I personally love the Willow and I can’t wait to get my hands on one!
The Willow looks like one hot bag!! I’m so loving it!! Think it’s worth the purchase no?
