Bagaholicboy Muses #438 – What You Need To Know About Buying Goyard Online

bbm438 It breaks my heart every time a reader sends me a snapshot of their counterfeit Goyard bag, thinking they bought the real deal. And if I had a dollar for every email I’ve received over the years regarding purchasing Goyard online, I’d literally be swimming in their trunks right now.

After conferring with Goyard Paris on this matter, we’ve decided to set the record straight and hopefully this post will help you on your way towards owning your very own Saint Louis. Or the 233. Or the Marquise. But I digress.

01. Yes, it’s true you can buy Goyard bags (and SLGs) online, but only via email. In other words, you’ve got to email them directly with your enquiries, and someone from the Paris HQ will reply you, along with prices and shipping costs. Everything else is fake, or overpriced if it’s from an online reseller.

02. As far as customisation options are concerned, simple applications like the addition of stripes or initials are possible. Do check with Goyard directly on the amount of time it would take, as well as the additional costs.

03. All orders shipped out of Europe are less VAT, which means you’ll enjoy the savings as if you were doing the claims at the airport. Shipping costs are yours to pay (as are incoming duties and/or taxes), and Goyard uses Goldwings for all international deliveries.

04. As far as prices are concerned, here’s a quick rundown of the more popular models. The Saint Louis GM for example is now EUR800 for the classic hues, and EUR1040 for the others. The PM is EUR700, with those in non-classic hues retailing for EUR910. The 233 starts at EUR3150, while the Ambassade retails from EUR1900.

05. Classic hues refer to Black, Brown and Red (click here to see the colours), while everything else is considered non-classic/limited. They are Burgundy, Green, Navy Blue, Orange, Sky Blue, Yellow and White. And now Grey (T11). Yes, Grey, which is really lovely.

So now you know. And if there are any other queries relating to ordering Goyard’s bags and SLGs via email, just leave a comment here. Or click on this link and drop them an email to get the ball rolling. Happy shopping.

In the US, you must purchase in store first and then you are able to purchase via phone with the store you purchased. They will not accept email purchases (since that is not secure for credit information), nor will they sell over the phone without being an existing customer. Some items are only available for purchase in store as well. All phone orders are shipped to the address on file only.

I sent an email and they told me they can’t sell me Goyard online. Is this outdated?

    • Bagaholicboy says:

If your country has a Goyard store they might reject you. Or they could have updated their online selling policy, I’m not 100% sure now.

    • Jake says:

How long did they take to respond to you? I sent an inquiry via their website on Saturday May 18 2019 (posting this 8 days later Sunday May 26) and have not received any response from Goyard. I am in the USA, but 2-3 hours flight away from the nearest city with a boutique so it’s a bit impractical to make a flight just for a card holder wallet.

      • Bagaholicboy says:

If I am not wrong, Goyard no longer responds to emails regarding purchases if there is already a physical store within the country.

Please advise the size of your St Louis Tote PM in Brown. A colour I want I have seen online on XXX.

    • Bagaholicboy says:

Hi Malcolm, as far as I’m aware, Goyard doesn’t have this colour. Please don’t buy Goyard online, there are many fakes out there. Please only purchase directly from the boutique. Thanks.

I went into Goyard’s online site and it said I can buy Goyard in New York’s Barney’s. Is this legit?

  • Deema says:

Hello, I want order Goyard Saint Louis PM in Green, tell me how much is the price after tax-free? Thank you.

  • TPL says:

I am attempting to purchase a Goyard Saint Louis, and emailed them from their website as you suggest. I got an auto-reply almost 5 days ago, but nothing since. Since it has been several days, is it possible I didn’t email the correct address/location? I would love to order from France if possible since we don’t live anywhere near a store.

  • Joshua May says:

I have a Goyard card holder wallet that I bought and it has 2 Goyard symbols one in the middle and on top but the top one is half-gone, in dark gold and stitching is intact. Is this legit? Let me know?

    • Bagaholicboy says:

I won’t be able to tell unless you can provide snapshots. Head to my Contact page and drop me an email, thanks.

Also, where did you buy it from?

  • Jarryd ma says:

Hi there, I’m Jarryd Ma. I’m from Australia.

I want to buy an authentic Goyard bifold wallet. I need some advice from you if this is possible…

Which store is better to order from their 14 stores around the world to ship to Australia?
    Many thanks for you help/time…

    • Bagaholicboy says:

You can only order directly via Goyard’s Paris boutique, and your purchase will be less VAT plus shipping to Australia. In other words, there will be no tax from France, but you’ll have to bear any tax (if applicable) when the item enters Australia. Thanks!

      • JARRYD MA says:

Thanks for the reply! I’ve seen people send their passport details and credit card info too, is that correct?

        • Bagaholicboy says:

Well, so long as you’re dealing with Goyard’s CS, it’s fine. The email that you indicated also ends with, so it’s legit. If it is anything else, I would be worried.

          • Jarryd Ma says:

Hi, I received an email from 233 today. The only thing that concerned me is the postages/shipping cost more than wallet itself (wallet is 3-450 Euro while p/shipping 5-550 Euro). Is there any store (Singapore/NYC…) with shipping costs lower any lower?

One more thing. For men, Victoire or Saint Florentin?
With or without initials? Much appreciated!!!

  • SeBast says:

Hello, I decided to purchase the Saint Louis online and requested it to be sent to Singapore (due to exchange rate, it is much cheaper to purchase in France than in Singapore) but Goyard replied that this service has ceased since Singapore has a outlet.

Any alternative way to ship the bag from overseas? Thanks.
