One of the good things to come out of the collab with H&M has got to be the spotlight that has been shone onto the brand, with more people taking notice of the French brand’s offerings.
Earlier this month I featured the paint-splattered sneakers for the boys which were pretty swell. Today, have a look at the Maison Martin Margiela Leather Doctor’s Bag. Measuring 39.5 cm by 29 cm and Alma-shaped (well, kind of), can be used one of two ways, as a handbag, or with the handles ‘folded’ in, as a clutch as well. Which is also the bag’s most distinctive feature really, the trompe l’oeil handle cut-out detailing part of the brand’s avant-garde signature.
Retailing for GBP925 and available via Matches Fashion, the full-leather bag will be a definite conversation piece, the burnt-orange colour a nice contrast against blacks, neutrals or anything warm. Plus it’s quirky too.
