Consider yourself informed. With this post on the upcoming H&M + Maison Martin Margiela collab (#MargielawithHM) you can expect more in the coming days as I attempt to break it down into palatable bits for all who are looking forward to the launch.
But first, the ad campaign proper, which has already been officially released online. Featuring re-editions from Maison Martin Margiela from F/W89 to S/S12, the campaign gives you a quick glimpse into what’s going to be available come 15 November.
As far as the men are concerned, there is only 1 campaign image, and it features the overcoat with inverted lapels, painted denim jeans and the hand-painted ankle boots, all of which I’m lusting over for myself, save for the jeans. And while I can’t tell you how much each piece costs, I can tell you this. The whole outfit (as shown above) will set you back by just SGD957.
Of all the campaign images for the women, I’m personally loving the ‘have-you-gone-nuts’ duvet coat, which apparently was really a duvet that was re-imagined into a coat (no, I’m not kidding) in the hands of Maison Martin Margiela.
Superbly comfortable, this is the kind of piece you want to have around when your office feels like the Arctic all year round, or when you’re hopping aboard a plane for a long-haul flight. Along with the mirror leggings and the invisible wedge pumps, this entire outfit will set you back by SGD927.90.
Check out the rest of the campaign images here, and look out soon for more updates on this collab. Who’s excited now?
