There’s no denying the amount of good Kim Jones has done for Louis Vuitton as far as menswear and accessories are concerned, and with the F/W12 collection it just confirms that even more. One of the pieces I’m rather smitten with is the Louis Vuitton Nomade Stole Case, the 28 cm by 16 cm barrel-shaped leather bag that’s part day bag, part camera case and all class.
Made of flawlessly luxe Nomade leather (till you scratch it up yourself, of course), it’s one of the 4 new pieces from Kim Jones that also includes a Sac Plat, a Sirius PM and a new A4-ish flat portfolio/clutch that comes with its own sling. With the bags in colours as varied as Bleu Marine, Mocha and Tabac, it looks set to be a runaway success even with prices ranging from around USD2500 to USD5000 a pop.
More updates to come.
