Like I’ve said many times before, as far as clutches go, Alexander Mcqueen doesn’t make them, instead they make works of art. And just so you know what I’m taking about, here’s something new that’s certainly worthy enough to be regarded as art.
Not for the faint-hearted, the Alexander McQueen Unicorn Skull Embroidered Satin Box Clutch is a cornucopia of visual delights, a pair of unicorns flanking the now iconic fixture of all Alexander Mcqueen clutches, the skull. On the bottom, a wonderfully embroidered floral tapestry of vibrant colours that’s part tribal and part exotic, set on a black satin clutch.
Measuring 15 cm across by 9 cm high, it retails for GBP1435 over at Net-A-Porter, which while a tad bit pricey can’t compare with all years of joy you’ll be getting back in return for something so magnificent.

love at first sight… the ultimate combination of unicorns and skulls for me, both icons which i love! must have it, must own it, must cuddle it.
*heart is racing fast*… but stop when i think it might not hold a iphone or similar smartphone in it… then again, can this skull box clutch hold more or the knuckle box?
If by knuckle box you are referring to the longer ones, then yes, they should be able to hold a tad more.
It’s a stunning piece, unicorns, skull, embroidery and all. That is the whole point.
Wow! I’m in love! (FB)
I really love the metal skull thing with the unicorn! Not so sure about the textile of the clutch itself. It’s getting all a bit over the top. A plain color would have been much better in my opinion!
How regal! (FB)
One word. Gorgeous. (FB)
