Givenchy has their Rottweilers and sharks, Burberry Prorsum their owls and terriers, Jil Sander their whales and dinosaurs, Balenciaga and Markus Lupfer the German Shepherd. There are so many, in fact, I’ve lost count of who came out with what, when, with the only constant being that this trend will not likely be abating anytime soon.
In other words, like it or not, you’ll be seeing more of these tees and sweatshirts emblazoned with animals, even more so when the high street stores (think H&M and Topshop/Topman) start pushing out their wares.
I say if you can’t beat them, join them, and currently I’ve got my eye on the new Kenzo Tiger Embroidery Sweater that’s unisex, available in 2 colours and priced at USD255 a pop over at Opening Ceremony. That, or the Markus Lupfer sequinned German Shepherd knit that’s now 70% off over at MyWardrobe.
Decisions, decisions.

roar! love it, though it reminds me of tiger beer as well.
With all that orange and blue, you’re right, it kinda does…
