It may not be practical, but this has got to be one of the most interesting/beautiful minaudière I’ve seen in a while. Then again, what hasn’t Riccardo Tisci been touching that hasn’t turned to gold? From the much coveted tees to hit bags like the Antigona, there’s no telling when his Midas streak will stop, but from the looks of his upcoming S/S13 collections, it won’t be anytime soon.
But before I digress, here’s the minaudière at hand, a small angular case (I did say it wasn’t very practical) with a leather strap on top and not much else. I’m guessing when you twist the clasp on the front the cover pops open, giving you access to the contents within. What’s amazing is the embroidered star emblem on the front which is intricate and old-world.
Available in at least a dozen variations and then some, here’s another that caught my eye, one in quilted leather that’s almost Chanel but not quite.
Last but not least, because we could always do with a touch more colour in our lives, here’s one in orange and black grained leather. Divine, no?

Wow. I’m a dude and even I want this (esp. the orange-black variant).
Makes for a pretty nifty iPhone/keys/smallchange carrier, no?
I doubt an iPhone would fit into it, but really, don’t let that stop you. It’s a keeper/conversation-starter/gem.
