5 beautiful Spaniards, 5 beautiful Spanish bags and one beautiful palace in Madrid pretty much sums up the Fall-Winter 2012 Loewe ad campaign in its entirety, which was shot by Mert and Marcus.
Featuring renowned Spaniards from actress Ángela Molina to singer Eleonora Bose and models like Andrés Velencoso, the campaign celebrates Spanish talents, and in doing so, highlights its own significance to Spain as a precious jewel in the crown of Spanish heritage and culture.
And in the midst of all the celebratory drinks with the beautiful people clad in black leather, there are the bags, all icons are far as Loewe is concerned.
From the sumptuous polished black crocodile Amazona to two more in Oro suede and another in bright red suede, to the now famous Flamenco in autumn-hued Russet, as well as the new season Granada in Magenta you’ll hopefully be seeing lots more of, these are the real ‘jewels’ in my opinion, each one as exquisite and as elegant as the next, yet discreet and unassuming.
Just like everything we’ve come to expect from Loewe.

Black clothes and colored bags. It’s so elegant!!! You know black color fits with all.
Men are so smart, perhaps too formal and I miss men’s bags or cases. When will there be a men’s RTW???
Loewe just showed a small collection of men’s RTW in Paris for S/S13. Not sure if we in SG will get it anytime soon though.
Amazing campaign!
