It’s that time of year again when I reveal the eagerly anticipated line-up of colours from Longchamp’s Le Pliage collection for F/W12. What’s different this season is the fact that I’ll be showing you all 13 colours, made up of both new and classic hues.
This also isn’t an exact Pantone-perfect chart, so please don’t send hate mail my way if the colour you bought doesn’t match my chart exactly. Like I said, it’s just a guide.
Let’s begin. From top down we’ve got Burgundy (new), Taupe (classic), Chocolate (classic), Moss (new), Camel (new), Duck Blue (new), Tangerine (new), Red (classic), Navy (classic), Bilberry (classic), Fir (new), Graphite (classic) and last but not least, Black (classic).
Personally, I’m loving Fig and Duck Blue the most, with Moss coming in at third place. All the new colours are also a strong representation of the colour palette Longchamp is using for all its other bags for F/W12, and if you remember, the new F/W12 Le Pliage Cuir also has some bags in similar hues.
Also, for those of you eyeing bags in Fir, Moss and Tangerine, you’ll be pleased to know that these hues will be released this weekend at Longchamp boutiques in Singapore, with the others coming out bit by bit in the coming months.
What’s your hue of the season?
