Ordinarily, this would just be a regular Bayswater Pouch, a simple, yet functional, full leather pouch that measures 22 cm by 15 cm. But because 2012 is also the year of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, along with the London Olympics, Mulberry has launched a small collection of limited edition bags, all of which feature a beautifully engraved Union Jack on the clasp.
Distinctly British (ok, I just had a ‘duh’ moment), other pieces in the collection include a pair of Lily bags in Oak (GBP595) as well as Oak Ostrich (GBP1700).
Available online from June 2012, the piece de resistance has got to be the Mulberry Union Jack Lock Bayswater (GBP795), which will also be the only bag available in Singapore, where it will retail for SGD1999.
And is it me, or do the shoulder handles look a tad longer?

I just bought one at Heathrow Airport for GBP660+! Love it!
I really like it, I just wish it came in more colors though…
It’s really quite swish. Not bad.
Like the subtle details which is oh so Mulberry.
I like the clasp bit the most.
