I’ve been slowly introducing F/W12 bags from Mulberry right here, and today’s entry is another you should keep an eye out for. Best described as another variation of the Alexa, the Tassel Bag, like the Zig Zag Bag, has the same basic shape but with a few differences.

Gone is the postman’s lock clasp in the front, which is replaced with a pair of hanging leather tassels. Studs are also added to front flap’s border, giving it a slightly edgier feel. And instead of leather, the bag is made of heavy suede and I’m guessing that just makes the body thick and stiff.

While the verdict is still out on how they will actually look in person, the colours are pretty interesting. While the ones in this size will come in 2 colours, Oak and Ink Blue (which is shown above), the regular ones will come in Oak, Black Forest (which is actually a deep red) and another in an oak lizard/tiger print haircalf combination.
