Here’s your quick first look at the June instalment of the Fall-Winter 2012 Burberry ad campaign, which can be best described as brooding and enigmatic, with a film noir aesthetic that I feel is just perfect for the season.
Starring Gabriella Wilde and Roo Panes and shot by Mario Testino himself, Christopher Bailey decided to use London as the backdrop, shooting a series of cinematic, emotive black and white images. He adds, ‘We wanted to play with everything that’s at the heart of the Burberry world, celebrating our brand and London through imagery, film, music, weather and our iconic outerwear, all in a very poetic and British way.’
