After its much-lauded and successful first run, the Longchamp Le Pliage Cuir collection will be back for a second season in gorgeous new hues and here’s your official first look at the 5 new colours for F/W12. From left to right we’ve got Burgundy, Camel, Duck Blue, Gunmetal Grey and Fir, all of which I’m happy to report are just perfectly unisex, which also means the boys can get in on the action as far as the Travel Bag is concerned.
Rounding up the new colours are 3 classic hues, Taupe, Red (both shown above) and Black, which have been brought back for another round due to popular demand. Expected to be launched sometime in September, October at the latest, I’m expecting these to fly off the shelves as well.
Personally, I’m torn between Duck Blue and Fir, both of which should stand the test of time and still be relevant 3, 4 or 8 seasons from now. What’s your favourite hue?

thanks for the prompt reply! and sad face sad face…
i know this post is was done last, but i love the cuir colours above and am sad they don’t currently appear on the website! is it still possible to buy burgundy and/or fir from the cuir collection if i’m going overseas to Europe next week? and would you know the price comparison between the cuir here and in Europe? i love green colours – bought the Mulberry Alexa in Cabbage last year!
Hey Hanna, those colours you mentioned are from F/W12 (last season), which are no longer available I’m afraid.
Just to give you an idea, the smallest Le Pliage Cuir will retail for EUR290 in Europe.
Hi, I would like to know why some Longchamp Planetes are made in France and some in Tunisia.
Please advise. Thanks.
Longchamp has workshops/factories all over the world which are entirely owned and operated by the brand. Everything is then sent to their quality control facility in Segre (in France) before they are delivered for sale worldwide.
Burgundy!
what about the colours for the regular le pliage? do you know? please share?
Duck Blue, Burgundy and Fir.
I like Duck Blue.
Wow I cannot wait to see the grey and burgundy. They are all gorgeous colors though!!
I like the same colors you do! My ginormous red one has been serving me so well on this trip!!!
That’s great! Where are you now? NYC?
