The Row Lizard Shoulder Bag

This will be the first time I’m featuring anything from The Row, and honestly, it’s long overdue. Helmed by the Olsen twins, the bags and SLGs from their brand generally have this relaxed yet regal air about them, where the emphasis is placed on crafting the finest pieces available using the best of skins and the simplest of shapes.

For today’s inaugural post, I’ve chosen to feature the The Row Lizard Shoulder Bag, which exemplifies what I’ve mentioned earlier. A beautiful piece that won’t look out of place in any decade past, present or future, I do love its luxurious use of exotic lizard coupled with chunky gold-tone hardware.

And that’s it really, no cringe-inducing monograms, no unnecessary dangling bits, just a well-made elegant bag that should be passed down from generation to generation. Beauty does come at a price, though, and this darling will set you back by USD4800. In Singapore, expect to pay SGD7690 for it at Club21 Women where it’s also available.

If you’re looking for something bigger, Net-A-Porter stocks another variation (in a slightly taller format) that sells for GBP3680 in a rich camel-hued exotic lizard that’s equally alluring.

If it were only bigger and wider, it would’ve made a really solid briefcase/attache contender on my list (against the Hermes Kelly Depeches 34).

The girls always have it so good. Dammit (and I mean that in the best way possible).
