There’s no end to the frenzy surrounding the Luggage from Céline even though it has been around for almost 2 years. Demand is still strong, with waiting times of up to 3 months the norm if you happen to be in Singapore. What’s clear, however, is the fact that there are now two camps when it comes to the bag, a camp who loves it, and obviously, another that doesn’t.
I happen to be on the fence about it, because on some days I’ll be asking myself why is it even still around, while on other days I’d be admiring my lone Medium Luggage that’s sitting on the shelf in my walk-in wardrobe (yes, I’m schizo like that).
Available in countless variations since they first came out years ago, everyone has a favourite combination, given that it comes in many different sizes (Nano, Micro, Mini, Shoulder and Medium), colours and materials, with Micro and Mini topping most everyone’s wish list due to their manageable size.
If you happen to be looking for some Luggage love but don’t want to wait a minute longer for it to materialise, I’ve got some good news to share. Singapore-based online designer bag retailer Bag Bistro will be launching a small collection of Luggage bags tomorrow from 11 in the morning, with pieces as varied as the canvas and leather Luggage (in Nano and Mini at SGD2100 and SGD2550 respectively), full leather ones in Fluorescent Pink, Souris and Vermillion (SGD3150), as well as a small Phantom in Black that will sell for SGD3100.
Also up for grabs are a small ponyhair Phantom in Jade (SGD5200) and a Box (SGD4300) which are priced lower than retail by SGD200 and SGD900 respectively.
Besides Céline you’ll also find a decent selection of current season bags from other brands including Fendi, Givenchy, Lanvin, Mulberry, Proenza Schouler and Salvatore Ferragamo at less-than-retail prices.
Happy shopping, you can always thank me after you’ve snagged the Luggage of your dreams.

Maybe a 101 question but what’s the difference between the Phantom and Luggage?
Compared to the Luggage, the Phantom is the slouchier sister, the sides of the bag are much wider and the base is squarish, rather than rectangular like the Luggage.
This bags on Bag Bistro are authentic, right? They seem too cheap to be real…
The bags are authentic. The bags are also priced the same as the ones in the boutique for the more popular models, so I’m not exactly sure what you’re referring to.
Anything left? I wanted to get a Mini for my Mum.
can’t wait for the sale to start! i want the pink verm mini! 2 more hours to go!
90 more minutes! Good luck!
Hi, I just bought a Mini in sand colour with suede and am tempted to sell it as its a bit heavy for me. Do you think I should sell it?
I like the Luggage ever since its debut.
No reason why. Just looking at its ‘face’ makes me happy.
Yup, I’m irreverent like that. Hah.
If there were an exotic on the list, I’d be very tempted.
