Dunhill may be many things, but boring definitely isn’t one of them, especially when faced with something as bizarre and quirky as the Dunhill Biometric Wallet. One of those fancy gadgets that are right up James Bond’s alley, this durable carbon fibre wallet can only be opened with the touch of your fingerprint.
Available at Dunhill boutiques in Singapore (or get it from their online shop) for SGD1200, you’ll find a money clip and a leather card case enough for 3 cards on the inside, which may not work for those who insist on carrying their whole life around in their wallet. It will, however, be great for those who are fascinated with cool gadgetry like this, and want to get something that’s a bit more exciting (and interesting) than your regular pedestrian leather billfolds.
And that’s not all. If your wallet and your smart phone are separated by more than 5 metres, the wallet can be set (via Bluetooth, of course) to send out an alarm, great for those who frequently misplace their wallets. But if you were to misplace both wallet and smart phone at the same time, then even James Bond won’t be able to help.

Finally in the SG stores?! Will go pick it up later.
I had previously sent a request to their online customer service, but they strangely couldn’t find me one at all over the whole Christmas period!
I know it is available at Dunhill Ngee Ann City for sure, saw it there myself a couple of weeks ago.
I can find the image on Dunhill’s website, but no purchase info.
Here’s the link, but you can also get it at Dunhill stores in Singapore.

Oh thanks, user error.
Thought of getting it for the husband’s birthday but he doesn’t want to have to scan his thumb every time he wants to open it. But that’s the whole point…
Why don’t you go down and try it out for yourself. Definitely worth a look.
This is beyond innovative. It’s amazing to see how fashion and technology are developing to such levels, challenging our continued tastes and personal styles. Still, fashion will always be my first love.
