Fall-Winter 2011 Burberry Ad Campaign: September

The theme of Burberry’s ad campaign for the month of September is Nude, which ties in nicely with their new fragrance Body that was also launched this month. Says Christopher Bailey, ‘With the Nude collection we wanted to combine our iconic trench coat and signature colour palette with the sensuality of Burberry Body. We have created a capsule of ready-to-wear and accessories all in shades of nude in very tactile fabrics.’

Naturally, the first things I zoomed in on were the bags and accessories which included this bowling bag in different shades of nude leather and suede. Retailing for SGD2795 in Singapore, it is still one of my absolute favourites from this particular ensemble.

Another piece worth checking out is the Burberry Nude Python Wallet, a great buy at just SGD1475. Now before all of you start crying foul and lynch me, hear me out. Measuring 19.5 cm by 10.5 cm, it comes with 12 interior card slots, 4 note slots, one zipped compartment, as well as another oversized pocket at the back.

In other words, besides being a really beautiful exotic piece in itself, it is also functional, allowing you to pack in as much (or as little) as you want. And if you were to consider the fact that leather wallets these days can retail for up to SGD1500 anyway, this one in exotic python is definitely a buy worth considering.
