Here’s a quick preview of the upcoming Fall-Winter 2011 Womens Chanel collection that will be launched come September 2011. Besides the Chanel Boy collection which I already shared with you, other key pieces from the runway collection include this circular quilted hand purse that comes with a slot at the back for you to slip your hand through. Like a clutch almost.
Here’s the sequinned version in black quilted leather.
Off runway, new pieces include this felt tote with dangling chains with braided leather detail and CC charm. The horizontal one in Red is definitely lush, with subtle quilting details on the felt itself and topped off with leather handles and trim.
Another tote that caught my eye is the vertical one in grey felt (click here to have a look), and while I’m not 100% sure of its size, it sure looks big (and roomy enough) for work or play. As far as the prices are concerned, I’m estimating them to be above the SGD3000 mark. Each.
Here’s a sprinkling of accessories from the collection, which include the stunning black silk scarf foulard that features a dark, mysterious forest scene, a hair barrette encrusted with glass pearls and the chunky metal bracelet with a white stone centre.
As usual, I’ve saved the best for last. My most favourite bag from F/W11 Chanel has got to be this alligator 2.55 with gunmetal hardware in black, charcoal and ivory that’s absolutely stunning. The Classic Flap in black sequins is equally alluring too, with its all-black hardware and shimmering body.
Capturing the essence of the collection, the bags are best described as dark, mystical, and with a dash of mystery thrown in. Lush, no?
