Here’s a quick look at Burberry’s F/W11 ad campaign for the month of June, which features a cast of 11 including up and coming models, actors and musicians. Shot by Mario Testino with creative direction from Christopher Bailey, the campaign showcases the best the British house has to offer this season. If you’re lusting after the tote that Cara Delevinge (seen above with Johnny George) is carrying, it is the Burberry Prorsum Large Luggage Alligator Bowling Bag that retails for SGD42,995.
One of the new designs for F/W, the Luggage also comes in non-exotic versions (Haymarket check or full leather) that retails from SGD3195 in the medium or landscape sizes, depending on which you prefer. Featuring oversized leather tassels and zigzagged trim, it is one of those pieces you love, or not.
Personally I prefer the Luggage Clutch more, shown above in exotic croc which should retail for around SGD15,000.
Affordable versions are also available, like this gorgeous full leather version in black that will sell for SGD1995. Measuring 30 cm by 21 cm, the oversized tassels make more sense on these pieces, an over-proportioned contrast to the otherwise plain clutch. Dare I say ‘granny chic’?
