If I could, I would. Introducing the single most desirable item, as far as I’m concerned, from the Spring-Summer 2012 Mens Burberry Prorsum collection, the overtly indulgent, totally unnecessary Burberry Prorsum Alligator iPad Sleeve. Available in a wide variety of colours for SGD7195 apiece, I love the one in Mustard (shown above) the most. It could be the colour combination, but the embossed logo and trim stitching stands out the best in this one. Definitely not a need. More like a want. A big want.
As far as the bags are concerned, there is only one which caught my eye (and is currently holding strong in my heart). The Burberry Prorsum Vibrant Print Duffle Bag will be an oddity as far as most are concerned, but I see the inherent beauty in this offbeat hobo. Retailing for SGD2895, the 39 cm by 47 cm is half jute, half cotton with a piece of leather thrown in anyway for good measure, disguised as the shoulder strap.
Unlined on the inside and made in Italy, it is one of those bags I can see myself carrying down the road, though I’ll be worried sick on how to keep it from getting stained and dirtied. Still, it is one of those beautiful standout pieces that currently ranks high on my S/S12 must-have list.
If you’re keen on any of the pieces featured here (or the other bags and coats featured in the runway show), you have till 27 June 2011 to decide and place an order which you’ll then receive in 8 weeks or less. Which also means you can start strutting your S/S12 wardrobe earlier than anyone else from August 2011. How cool is that?
