Yesterday you enjoyed the Fall-Winter 2011 Womens Louis Vuitton ad campaign, and today I’ve decided to show you a pair of bags from the collection I’m waiting to check out for myself in person. Known as the Monogram Shine Lockit BB (USD1560), this particular design will come in 3 different sizes (BB, regular and the larger Voyage size) and features detailing that’s been reversed.
Fans of Monogram Canvas bags will know that while the handles usually come in leather, this time it is covered in coated canvas. The hanging key bell is also different, and so is the covered padlock. And though you won’t be able to tell just by looking at the image, the coated canvas bags will also be a tad shinier, with an additional layer of glossy sheen.
Besides the bag in 3 sizes, there will also be a clutch version with the handcuff bracelet in Monogram Canvas (called the Louis Vuitton Monogram Shine Lockit Clutch) that will definitely be more affordable than the exotic one featured in the ad campaign. Available in MM (35 cm by 19 cm), it is priced at USD2420. The one in exotic croc? USD15,000.
Now for the other bag from the F/W11 collection. The stunning Louis Vuitton Lockit Devotion in exotic emerald croc accented with sumptuous gold hardware from Louis Vuitton’s seasonal Les Extraordinaires collection. I especially like the metallic key bell as well as the miniaturised handcuff chain detailing. How much you ask? While I don’t have the official price in yet, my sources have confirmed that this is likely to be in the region of USD20,000 or more.
