Featuring 5 vintage cars, 6 different models and 7 pairs of pedigree dogs is the Fall-Winter 2011 Womens Louis Vuitton ad campaign, which also features many variations of the iconic Lockit that takes centrestage this season. Shot by Steven Meisel with styling and makeup by Karl Templer and Pat McGrath, it is a strikingly sophisticated tribute to the F/W11 collection.
In the image above you’ll see the Extraordinaire Lockit clutch in shiny exotic croc that’s matched perfectly with the diamond-paved padlock and handcuff bracelet, surely one of the most indulgent (and expensive) pieces you’ll ever buy from Louis Vuitton.
Another variation of the Lockit that first caught my eye back in March when I was in Paris was the oversized tote, and one of the bags I quickly put on my personal wish list. Definitely a piece that’s suitable for both men and women, I’m only waiting upon the price to make up my mind.
