Spring-Summer 2011 Womens Mulberry Ad Campaign

It is with great pleasure that I’m bringing you a Bagaholicboy exclusive. Presenting the Spring-Summer 2011 Womens Mulberry ad campaign in its entirety, a collection of 8 images shot and styled by British photographer Tim Walker and Edward Enninful respectively. Featuring models Nimue Smit and Lindsey Wixson, the campaign takes place in a grand manor made whimsical with giant ladders and fresh hydrangeas.

Taking centrestage this season in the new Mulberry Tillie, the grown-up elder sis to the Alexa that’s already available online at Mulberry for GBP812. But if you’re waiting for the ones in Denim (shown above), or the one in Silky Snake Print, you’ll just have to wait a little longer as they will be launched in the coming months.

Also available, the Mulberry Tillie Hobo which will come in a wide variety of materials. Retailing for GBP912, the ones on sale online now include the ones in Black, Chestnut (matte leather) and Powder Beige Sparkle Tweed.

See the piglet? Cute!

Here’s the Mulberry Tillie in Silky Snake Print, which was first seen on the runway of the Spring-Summer 2011 Womens Mulberry fashion show. Of all the different variations, this is my personal favourite in terms of texture, contrast and colour.

Moving along, we got the Bayswater, which comes back this season in Pink Trippy Tiger Patent (GBP868), as well as another in a creamy shade of rose with a rosette-ribbon attached to it. Mad crazy or elegantly sublime, you choose.

Finally, all bags small, smaller and smallest are making a comeback this season, and if you’re intending to see what Mulberry has on offer, here’s a quick preview of sorts. From the adorable Lily, to the Mini Alexa, you’ll be seeing loads of tiny little wonders this S/S11.

I found Tillie quite charming in a quirky way but I know a lot of people aren’t fans. After seeing it IRL @ the flagship in New Bond Street, I have to say my liking for it has somewhat gone down.

I know the leather is different but IMHO – just a personal opinion – the chestnut and black look very cheap and tacky. It just doesn’t have the lovely feel/look to it like the Bays leather, or even the Alexa ones. (Some Lexies have really gorgeous graining)

It’s smaller than the normal Alexa too, and imho the price they command for it isn’t ‘fair’. Unless it’s been tried and tested for a while I will be steering clear of it, and stick to the classics that I know won’t have issues.

  • Love their campaign, can`t wait to see these small bags blossom this Spring.

Love the campaign – SO trippy. Like if Alice grew up and brought some Wonderland back home with her.

Mulberry’s all about the reinventing, aren’t they? I likes it.
