Ricardo Tisci clearly had bondage in mind when he created/approved this new variant of the Nightingale for the Spring-Summer 2011 Womens Givenchy collection. Dubbed the ‘S&M’ Nightingale (that’s what I’m calling it anyway), it’s one of those pieces best enjoyed with a sense of humour and an open mind.
Other new variations of the Givenchy Nightingale for S/S11 include the patent lime green leather one with faint leopard embossing, the classic leather one in Camel, and 2 more in what looks to be hair calf printed leather, one trimmed in white leather with leopard print in Camel (yes, it is still going to be a hot colour for 2011), the other trimmed in black leather with black and cream markings.
Generally available in 2 sizes, prices should start from SGD2300 and up, but you’ll just have to wait for more updates (and availability) as soon I get the info.
Also, stay tuned if you’re a fan of the Antigona (more of those in luscious colours for S/S11) and a new tote that’s curiously similar to the ones from Céline.
