Looking through Net-A-Porter’s new arrivals today, I spotted this: the Proenza Schouler PS1 Keepall, Lazaro and Jack’s latest reincarnation of the popular PS1. Primarily made up of leather and woven straw, the GBP840 (around SGD1680 or so) tote is massive, measuring 43 cm across by 36 cm.
Which is all well and good really, considering the fact that it is a Proenza Schouler, it is affordable, it is huge and most importantly, the colours and materials are just perfect for Spring. My only real issue? From the looks of it, the handles do look a tad long, which sort of throws off the proportion. It might not look that way here, but take a look at the one shown at Net-A-Porter and you’ll know what I mean.
Nevertheless, it is still a handsome piece, and the length is maybe something I can get used to over time, but I definitely have to check out the bag in person first. What do you think? Or did I just wake up on the wrong side of the bed today?
