Definitely not as staid as the previous one, S/S11 sees the release of the Bottega Veneta Spinnaker Duffel in Sauge. French for sage (in this case, a reference to its colour); the 80 cm by 36 cm duffle is made primarily of nylon and lined with cotton on the inside.
If the prices didn’t change, it should retail for SGD2320 in Singapore, which isn’t so bad (no, it isn’t that cheap for something that’s made of nylon, but it is Bottega Veneta after all) for a bag this size that’s both lightweight and roomy.
Great for the gym, the beach and even those short overseas trips, I only wish it came with a shoulder strap but that’s it really. And if I’m getting one, do I go for the one in Nero Moro, or this one in Sauge?
On another note, why is the model wearing socks with sandals? Please don’t tell me that’s going to be de rigueur for 2011. Oh, the horror.
