Time for some self-love, boys (keep your dirty minds out of the gutter, please) and check out the Pre-Spring 2011 Mens Louis Vuitton collection, which can also be considered the mens’ counterpart to the womens’ Cruise collection. One that’s preppy, lightweight and built for travel, the collection packs several essential everyday pieces, from a linen two-button blazer to simple tees and rolled cuff pants.
On the bag front I’m especially loving the Louis Vuitton Naxos Keepall45, which comes in different colours (Cedre, shown above, and Bleu Marine) and retails for SGD5250 a pop. Pricey yes, but given the fact that they are must-have travelling essentials and extremely lightweight makes it all the more desirable in my books.
A more affordable option would be the Louis Vuitton Damier Carbone Keepall45 (which was previously covered here) and it retails for SGD2960.
On the shoes and accessories front, it is pretty much business as usual (ie. safe as hell) but there are interesting pieces if you look hard enough. They include the new Monogram Flowers pattern as seen in ties and wraps, and the two pairs of shoes in the montage that I really, really like.
And if there is one piece I really need to get, it would be this scarf with the new Monogram Cravate pattern. It’s how I like my scarves to be: simple and understated. More updates to come…
