Givenchy Holiday 2010 Collection

Available from December 2010 is this trio of tees from Givenchy, another worthy contender for the X’mas gift stocking. Inspired by Riccardo Tisci’s F/W10 collection and specially created for Christmas, these limited edition tees will retail from SGD360 to SGD380 a pop, with each piece available in limited quantities.

And the way I see it, if you’re going to get a designer tee for a friend this X’mas, you might as well stock up on these, since they are way cooler (and more interesting) than those tees with the designer’s logo splashed right across the front and retailing for around the same price. Capice?

The quality of the cotton that Givenchy uses is of very good quality – you can be rest assured that they will not feel like you’re buying into any cheaper brand.

And no, they don’t look like what you can buy at a road-side stall. I love that Tisci has mastered the art of creating something that possesses that je nais sais quoi, whilst remaining distinctive at the same time. A person into fashion would recognise the piece, but it’s not obvious enough for everybody to go ‘Oh look, it’s Givenchy’.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

i’ll really need to see the quality of the fabric and the graphic printing to decide on these. looks too… underwhelming? in the sense that you could probably get something awfully similar at any other (pedestrian) shop selling graphic print tees.
