Here’s a sampling of the lovely pieces from the Fall-Winter 2010 Womens Louis Vuitton collection that’s due to be released over the next few months. The press kit is pretty extensive (and I can’t possibly put everything up) so here are a few of my picks for your viewing pleasure. First up, the Louis Vuitton Monogram Comédie Carrousel. A luxurious combination of exotic croc, ostrich, a touch of fur and embroidered monogram body, the price of this baby is set at USD6200.
A sombre (but not less gorgeous) piece is the Louis Vuitton Cuir Cinéma Intrigue in grained calf leather. Besides Gris Bleu (shown above), the USD4450 reinterpreted Speedy also comes in Noir and Rose.
Considered the working horse of the F/W10 collection, the Louis Vuitton Monogram Volupté Psyché measures 37.5 cm across and is made of waxed calf leather. Retailing for USD2250, it is also one of the most affordable pieces in the collection that’s also suitable for the corporate world.
Another interesting piece is this mixed Monogram Vernis creation that’s a first for Louis Vuitton. I’ve haven’t got the official name, release date or retail price for this wallet just yet, so you’ll just have to sit tight and stay tuned.
A gorgeous stole is up next, echoing the same treatment as the Monogram Fleur de Jais Speedy. But while the Speedy comes with appliqué sequins, the stole is more simply put together with just a printed floral pattern.
