First spotted on the runway of the Spring-Summer 2010 Womens Jil Sander presentation, these vertical totes were easily the most interesting accessory Raf Simons created for S/S10. Looking like the love child of Karl Lagerfeld (think Fendi Peekaboo) and Phoebe Philo (think clean structured lines with no fuss), the ‘wear-it-2-ways’ calf leather tote (shown on the right) has finally arrived in Singapore and is now available at the boutique (#02-22/23, Hilton Shopping Gallery) at SGD3610 apiece.
And here’s how it looked then going down the runway, which should give you a better idea of its size and how it looks when it is in ‘action’.
And yes, in case you’re wondering, I’m loving it.
Totally unrelated, but worth a mention as well are these stylish calf leather flat sandals (also from the S/S10 collection), which are just great if you’re looking for something that’s trendy and comfortable at the same time. Priced at SGD890 a pair, fret not if you can’t afford it because sooner or later Charles & Keith will make a copy of it and sell them for SGD29.90. I may not approve, but hey, no one seems to be stopping them either.
