I’m officially smitten with the Prada Perforated Leather Portfolio that’s part of the Spring-Summer 2010 Mens Prada runway collection. The clasp is small and discreet, and if you look closely at it you will see the logo. In fact that’s the only way you’re going to know that it’s Prada. The portfolio itself is A4 in size, roomy with enough bells and whistles on the inside to keep most content. It’s exactly the kind of portfolio I’m looking for, one that’s dressy enough for events to use as a clutch though I probably need to find a way to scrounge up the SGD2100 it costs to bring it home.
I also spotted a gorgeous tote in canvas with the centre strip in exotic ostrich. And though I’m unable to find a decent image of it online I’m sure you’ll be able to visualise it. Picture Prada’s standard open-top tote, in cream canvas with an added strip in the middle that’s all ostrich in grey. Having tried it on, I can tell you how difficult it was for me to tear myself away from it, though the asking price of SGD4040 did help loads in that area.
And if anyone out there is looking for an inexpensive designer tote in canvas, then check out the new Prada Canapa Tote that’s suitably unisex. Priced at SGD840 each, the totes are roomy and rather fun, especially those that come in the brighter colours like Red, Orange, Navy and Cyan (my personal favourite) besides the one in Black (shown above).
Really not too shabby at all. Check them all out at Prada ION Orchard and Paragon.

Love the Prada Perforated Leather Portfolio too but am afraid I look too uncle with that in my office do.
the portfolio is gorgeous BB.
i love that portfolio and i got to touch it (hehe) in the shop here in hkg. but the price is off-putting (nearly 10K hkd). it is even dearer than the prada tote in navy nylon that has racing stripes down the front — you previously featured this in your blog.
I’m a lady, and I want the Perfo portfolio. I think it would rock as a masculine clutch to pair with ultra-feminine looks!!!
hey, that tote looks cool and fun indeed! and that portfolio is really nice! if not for my goyard and lv pieces, i would have dived into that one. hahaha…
I think this is the tote with ostrich stripe you’re talking about:

I love that portfolio, too!
Yes Mark you’re right! Honestly it looks even better in real life!
Portfolio, portfolio, portfolio! I want!
Didn’t you say the strip was in grey? I love grey. Hehe.
Yeah it is. Cept the one at Sak’s Fifth Avenue looks more ‘yellowed’. It could be due the lighting.
