You’ve seen the ad campaign images here, now check out the exclusive first look at the Kate Moss For Longchamp collection that launches on 19 February 2010 in Singapore. Designed by Ms Moss herself, she thought long and hard about what she wanted for each bag; different shapes and forms for different occasions. Take the KM Longchamp Glastonbury (SGD1662) for example, a soft messenger that comes in pale grey suede or smooth calfskin which was created as her ‘rock-and-roll’ party bag.
Next up we’ve got the KM Longchamp Soho, a ‘handbag-clutch’ that can be used 2 different ways. With the shoulder strap on it’s the perfect night out handbag, one that’s slim yet packs a fair bit due to its height. Remove the strap and you’ll get an evening clutch for more formal events. Available in Black or Green, it is priced at SGD1074 each.
Finally, may I present the KM Longchamp Gloucester collection, which comes in 2 sizes, Sac (SGD2179) and Travel (SGD2778). Inspired by Kate’s love of vintage trunks (in particular their wide straps and heavy metal buckles), it was also important that both pieces were functional and easy to use, since she herself travels endlessly all over the world. Made of naturally grained cowhide and available in Black, Grey and Red, both bags can be carried either in the hand or over the shoulder.
And if you’re wondering about the zebra-print Gloucester Sac, it’s actually a one-off limited edition piece. That, along with Gloucester Travel and Soho, will come in zebra-styled calfskin as well, and their prices are SGD3665, SGD5370 and SGD1662 respectively.
