As promised, here are more pieces from the Spring-Summer 2010 Womens Hermès press kit that I’m totally digging. First up the Hermès Massai Cut35 in Swift calfskin that’s been updated with a shorter body and available with 2 straps, a shorter one for the shoulder and a longer one to wear the bag across the body. Besides Swift it also comes in Evergrain calfskin and sells for SGD6700 a pop.
Next we’ve got the Hermès Compact Constance Wallet in Alligator which in my opinion is just perfect for Lunar New Year. Auspicious and cheery, it will set you back by SGD14,400.
SGD490 for a carré 70? Yes, considering the fact that it’s an archived design depicting the Kelly that dates back to 1997 by a Cameroonian artist that’s made up of tiny colourful glass beads.
And lest the boys feel all left out, here’s something that I thought was especially gorgeous. Four pocket scarves in silk twill illustrated by Agathe Gonnet that revisit four famous tales that include The Princess And The Pea, Little Red Riding Hood, The Little Mermaid and Puss In Boots. Just perfect for jazzing up your blazer don’t you think?
Before I sign off though, I would like to congratulate Richard who took the plunge today and finally got his Hermès Birkin after a flurry of emails with yours truly. Congratulations dude, I’m so hating you right now.
