Those of you who’ve been to Prada lately would have seen these, the Prada Saffiano Print Tote from the current Spring-Summer 2010 Womens Prada collection. Looking like they’ve been painted, they do remind me of the fairy totes from the S/S08 collection. And while the one in Begonia (shown above) is all bright and festive, it does border on garish for me.
Instead I prefer the one in Cuoio, which is more sedate and mature. Measuring 31 cm across by 18 cm, they retail for USD2250 each; a tad pricey in my books. Still, they will be no lack of coiffed hair society ladies queuing up to grab (with their freshly manicured nails of course) a tote or 2 each. Besides the totes, other pieces in this collection include a large flat clutch, some smaller pouches and a couple of SLGs. Check them all out at Prada ION Orchard and Paragon.
And because I believe in giving credit whenever it is deserved, I would like to thank my wonderful assistant Sidney for helping out with the research for this post. Thanks doll!

Popped into Prada ION and loved the prints, but the leather felt so “plastic”.
Very pucci to me….
Agree, the design doesn’t spell Prada to me… more to Pucci. However, i bet many aunties out there would love to own one
I like the prints!
Is the Spring-Summer 2010 Womens Prada collection available at our local boutiques already?
