RuMe Green Label Metallic Tote Collection

I can honestly say I am quite proud of the fact that as often as I can I will use my reusable totes whenever I pick up my weekly groceries. Having amassed quite a collection of them (I’ve got a couple from Envirosax, one from Reisenthel and another from Baggu), it really makes more sense to use them. Besides saving the environment and using less plastic bags, it also prevents you from committing any fashion faux-paus.

Imagine this. You’re all dressed up with your designer bag in tow and you’ve got to make a pit stop at say, Market Hall at Paragon. At the cashier you realise you’ve picked up more than your usual load and they are all stuffed unglamourously into plastic bags. Now imagine yourself lugging all the plastic bags to the taxi stand or the car park. Not a pretty sight is it?

Available in a plethora of designs and colours, reusable totes aren’t really expensive either. Take the RuMe Green Label Metallic Tote collection for example. Available at Tiny Tapir (with free shipping to Singapore till 30 June 2009), the ones in Medium cost only SGD27 each.

If you can afford a designer bag, you can afford a reusable tote. No more excuses. Please.
